Museum

The Farm & Fair Museum is a beautiful collection of Fair memorabilia and antique farm equipment. There are tractors and antique carriages, vintage milk bottles from Essex County Farms, wooden butter churns and cheese presses, and hand tools like a wagon jack, scythe, pear picker, crosscut saws, pitch forks, and hay chopper.

There is also Charlie’s Farm Collection, an intricate display of farm toys and buildings set up in elaborate scenes on a double-tiered platform. Charlie Pickering is a lifetime Fair volunteer who creates the beautiful farm scenes—and also hides tiny bear figurines in them (find them all and you’ll get a lollipop!).
