Pig Barn

In 1996 the Pig Barn was built. Local farms come and exhibit their pigs and piglets at the Fair. There are no competitions within the pigs, however they’re here for the public to enjoy and observe. The Pig Barn, one of the most popular venues at the Topsfield Fair, houses two sows and numerous piglets from Colby Farm in Newbury, MA. Older piglets can be found in the Farmyard tent area. Various breeds of swine are brought in for display each year to help raise public awareness that not all pigs are white in color. You may see red, black, white, or a combination of all these colors. Kids always love to go to the pig barn to see the different types of pigs!
