Edward White

Edward White currently serves as a Board Member of the Essex Agricultural Society and as the Poultry Department Superintendent since the 1980’s. As a former teacher, he thoroughly enjoys educating the public and about poultry through the Education Class he teachers, “Which Came First The Chicken Or The Egg?” Under his leadership he has created a hands-on experience where he created the Egg Hatchery, where visitors can get up close and personal with baby chicks. People can watch baby chicks be born in the Hatchery, and also hold baby chicks. One of the most memorable parts about what he does is that, “Kids are walking away from me with a memory for their life.” Edward White resides in Ipswich.
