Gene Demsey

Gene Demsey currently serves as Secretary of the Essex Agricultural Society. He is better known as the “Voice of the Fair,” as he is the voice fair-goers hear announcing all of the upcoming events during fair time. Demsey is always on Fairgrounds during the 11 days of the Topsfield Fair and if you don’t see him, you’ll hear him! Across the grounds he is well known and is always active in the events taking place. He is also a retired principal of the Essex Aggie now known as Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School.
