Jody Nason
Jody Nason and her family had a booth at the Topsfield Fair for 22 years selling BBQ chicken meals to benefit the 4-H Foundation. She started in 1976, at just a couple months old, in the Essex Agricultural Society and became the youngest member. Her family’s booth started by using equipment designed by her grandfather Henry Nason and also used a trailer as a kitchen, until having a permanent kitchen built in for convenience purposes which is now the education building. In addition to supporting the 4-H Foundation, their booth also sold hundreds of thousands of chickens during fair season.
