William A. Coolidge
William Coolidge received his degree in Law at Harvard University in 1924 and went on to get his Master of Arts from Balliol College. He was a part of the Massachusetts Bar, which promotes administration of justice, legal education, professional excellence with respect for the law. In addition to this, he also served on the Office of Special Counsel of the Navy during World War 2. In 1990, he donated a $60,000 grant to the Essex Agricultural Society in order to expand an arts and crafts building, named in honor of him, known as “Coolidge Hall.”
