Food
The Foods Department puts on a great display of foods intended for amateur bakers. There a number of competitions to enter in including Class A which has an array of cookie/cookie bar entries, Class B which has an array of cakes/whoopie pie’s/bread entries, the King Arthur Dessert Bar Contest, Apple Pie Contest Pumpkin Pie Contest, and the Parent/Child Cookie Celebration. Co-chairpersons Priscilla Gerrard and Phyllis Berrett do a wonderful job of giving a variety of categories for contestants to enter in. The foods competition is always a sweet one and allows contestants to share some of their favorite and most memorable desserts.
