Dana Carter

Dana Carter came on board at the Topsfield Fair in 1987 on a part-time basis, however he never left and became permanent. He wore several hats here at the fair, including many years as part of the maintenance staff and several seasons as the Concessions Manager.

Those who have worked with him at the fair could recall countless times when if something needed to be resolved or someone needed a helping hand, the message that went out was, “See Dana…He’ll Know!” He and his wife Barbara received the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014 for their lifelong contributions to the Topsfield Fair. He has since left the fair due to health reasons, but he left a legacy at the fair that will never be forgotten.
