1910

The Fair was itinerant until 1910. For about 100 years the Topsfield Fair traveled around Essex county exhibiting in towns such as Haverhill, Danvers, Newburyport, Salem, Lynn, Georgetown, Andover, Lawrence, Ipswich, Gloucester, and Beverly. Essex Agricultural Society moved its annual Fair to permanently be located on the Treadwell Farm land. It’s been hosted there ever since.
