Hoosier Cabinet
A Hoosier cabinet (also known as a “Hoosier”) is a type of cupboard popular in the first decades of the 20th century. This piece was loaned to the Fair for an exhibit in a prior fair in the late 90’s. It was put into the exhibit to capture the essence of a display that showed a number of wood items. The Hoosier cabinets served a great purpose and were used by many. Although we no longer have them on fairgrounds, they are still apart of Fair history.
