Oxen Pull

Oxen pulling is one of the most traditional agricultural competitions still being held at New England fairs. Oxen pulls are popular with fair goers because they are an exciting opportunity to watch the skills and power of these oxen. Teams come from all over New England to compete at the Topsfield Fair competition held in our Arena.

There are 3 weight classes- 2,900 lbs, 3,300 lbs, and “Free For All.” In each of the 3 classes there are up to 10 winners!
