Alvin Craig
Alvin Craig, or informally “Al,” served on the Executive Board of the Essex Agricultural Society since 1986, filling Warren F. Rockwell’s position after his death. In the same year, Mark Corson resigned from his position and Alvin Craig was hired as the new General Manager. Craig started the Tri-town (Boxford, Topsfield, and Middleton) educational school days to educate children in the area about agriculture. He also served as the Draft Horse Chairperson for many years. Al passed away in 2019, but will leave behind his legacy and lifelong dedication at Topsfield Fair for many years to come.
