Betty Cooper
Betty Cooper grew up in Newburyport on a farm and always loved the Topsfield Fair. Coming from a family who raised cows, she always had a passion for caring for them. Her grandmother gifted her with a Purebred Jersey Cow of her own and from here she joined the Whittierland 4-H Club where she learned how to properly care for cows and prepare them for showings. Her cows were often showed at the Topsfield Fair during Fair time, as well as at many other showing across MA. Although it was difficult to compete against the bigger names, she always enjoyed the competition and especially enjoyed taking care of her cow, Candy, until having to sell it. Her memories of showing her herd at the Topsfield Fair were always pleasant.
