Clifton P. Elliott
Clifton P. Elliot served as a member of the Board of Directors for 48 years, while serving as President of Essex Co-Operative Farming Associated for 46 of them. He also was the President of the Essex Agricultural Society from 1971-1972 and the current Chairman for the Horse & Oxen Pulls. Elliot was the driver for Mrs. Essex County in many of the fair parades and other parades throughout Essex County.
In addition to his service to the Co-op, Elliott also served in the Army, was President of C and C Inc. Elliott Fuel Company, and Fire Chief in Topsfield. He raised his family in Topsfield, and currently volunteers his time to charities like the Shriners after being honored as a 33rd degree Mason. Clifton P. Elliot received the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award for his active support of the Topsfield Fair for over 50 years.
